Well I am still working on the table I am up to the extra bits now you sign post and papers on the floor and general the little things that make it the next level up in gaming.
One of the big things I have tried to do is make the table as useful as possible, one of the question I found on the wyrd forum was looks v playable table design.
And while listening to a pod cast they talked about display tables getting stale with time and that scatter terrain is the way to go.
Well when I build boards they are questions I ask and all designs are made around being able to answer both those questions. With Mr Magpie’s circus the main surface has a grave yard and some poles in the top but all other parts are able to be moved on and off the table or moved around to change the gamming table. But when all the parts are on the table in the circus configuration then it looks great and does not look modular at all it looks like the surface was made for it.
So I believe that with a bit of work you can get a good table with functions for playing and a table that can change for Varity
the box of terrain for mr magpies circus
the blank board ready for change
the finished table-
